Town Taxes and Bills Payments
Residents are able to pay Tax bills (Excise, Personal Property, Real Estate) and Utility bills (Water, Sewer, Stormwater, Trash) online, in person or by mail.
- To pay online, CLICK HERE [https://unipaygold.unibank.com/CustomerInfo.aspx?Customerid=721] to access the Town's Unipay online payment center. Payments can be made using credit / debit card or by entering bank account information.
- To pay in person, visit the Treasurer-Collector's window in the main lobby of the Municipal Building or utilize the drive-thru window located on the side of the building. Payments can be made using cash, check, or credit / debit card.
- To pay by mail, send a check made payable to the Town of Franklin to the Franklin Municipal Building, Attn: Treasurer-Collector, 355 East Central St., Franklin, MA 02038. Payments can be made by check.
Town Fees - Permits, Licenses, Certificates & Abatements Applications
In 2024 the Town performed an analysis of service fees and amended the Town Code by updating Chapter 82 relative to fees. The updates reflect increases, decreases, additions, deletions and corrections to fees due to changes in state law or state code, changes in market conditions for municipal fees, and/or calculations to the costs of service. OpenGov Applications
The Town of Franklin utilizes the OpenGov [https://franklinma.portal.opengov.com/] online application service for many of the permits, licenses, certificates and various abatements or credits that are issued to residents and businesses. Users must create an account and apply through OpenGov [https://franklinma.portal.opengov.com/] for the services listed below.
